Maritza Gonzalez
Maritza Gonzalez — a leader, compassionate caregiver, and dedicated community advocate — with 18+ years in healthcare, Maritza has played a key role in healthcare market development for several physicians and their successful practices.
In 2025, she launched the Texas Healthcare Alliance Chamber of Commerce, creating a healthcare resource network for the people of our community. But her impact doesn’t stop there!
Maritza is passionate about building meaningful connections— whether with healthcare providers, community members, or chamber partners.
Inspired by her daughter’s journey with Dravet Syndrome, she’s passionate about aligning medical services and providing education that empowers individuals to take control of their health.
From her work to her leadership across nonprofit boards, Maritza is committed to helping our community become champions of their own care—one connection at a time.
Lorena Hernandez
Lorena Hernandez is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 25 years of nursing experience and two decades of wound care certification.
As a Clinical Resource Manager for a global hygiene and health company, she brings deep clinical expertise and a heartfelt commitment to improving lives.
Her recent collaboration as a founder for the Texas Healthcare Alliance Chamber of Commerce reflects her dedication to addressing local gaps in care and creating impactful programs that connect people with vital resources.
Outside of her professional role, Lorena enjoys a vibrant family life with her husband of 21 years, their three adult children, and three spirited rescue dogs.
